Often I have taken the Sandbanks ferry across the mouth of Poole harbour to the sandy beaches which stretch along the Dorset coast towards Studland and Swanage. In this picture I have simplified the scene to dramatise the long open space of beach. The figures are painted small to enlarge the scale of the dunes.
